About

Sam Borni

Senior consultant with a decade of experience managing strategic engagements across public and private sectors. Combining a background in computer science with dual master's degrees in international relations, I specialise in translating complex concepts into actionable strategies, with a global perspective shaped by work across Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America.

I currently work as a Senior Solutions Consultant at Smarsh, where I lead technical strategy for enterprise sales opportunities in financial services. Previously, I held senior roles at Semarchy and TIBCO Software, focused on master data management, data governance, and enterprise integration.

Alongside my consulting career, I write on international politics and diplomacy, with a particular focus on Southeast Asia, the Indo-Pacific, and Anglo-Japanese relations. I hold a Master of Arts in Asian and International Affairs from King's College London and a Master of Arts in International Relations from Renmin University of China, where I specialised in inter-regional dynamics and strategic risk.

Outside of work you'll find me in either a boxing gym or a coffee shop, scouring London for the city's best cold brew. You can find me online at LinkedIn and BlueSky.
